I picked block nine (it was either that or seven), and I decided to a simple manipulation.
First I give the image my usual treatment (curves, levels, contrast, high pass sharpening layer), then I decided to cheat and grab the block seven image flip it vertically then put a layer mask on it so it'd only show through the 'windows' of block nine, after I had refined the layer mask, I reduced the opacity of the layer to 15% and saved for the image you see here.
